Heather Luing, M.D. is triple board certified in General and Forensic Psychiatry as well as Addiction Medicine. She has a particular interest in integrative psychiatry and believes optimizing both traditional and alternative treatments along with a therapeutic base helps patients reach maximum improvement. She also believes in preventative practices with an emphasis on mental wellness and not just mental illness.

Dr. Luing trained at the University of Florida and has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, Residential, PHP and IOP. She has over 15 years of experience practicing psychiatry and is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). When not seeing patients, she speaks and consults nationally on topics including treatment resistant depression, schizophrenia and substance use disorders and testifies as a forensic expert.
